Roma have reportedly agreed terms with Wolverhampton Wanderers for Portugal goalkeeper Rui Patricio, paying €6m plus bonuses.

That would be approximately half the original asking price, but the shot-stopper played his part in negotiations by pushing for the move.

The 33-year-old is expected to sign a three-year contract with Jose Mourinho’s club at the Stadio Olimpico.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the deal has been struck between the two clubs, as Rui Patricio had already agreed personal terms some weeks ago.

Patricio is currently starring for Portugal at Euro 2020 and made a stunning double save during last night’s 2-2 draw with France.

They will face Belgium in the Round of 16 next week.
