Daniele Rugani has reportedly said ‘yes’ to joining Roma, but Juventus do not want to sell the defender.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Rugani’s agent Davide Torchia met Roma sporting director Monchi on Wednesday.

The newspaper explains the pair held a ‘long conversation’, which ended with both parties reaching an agreement.

However, the Bianconeri would ‘still not be convinced’ about selling the 24-year-old and ‘certainly not in January’.

Nonetheless, Il Corriere believes the centre-back is ‘likely to leave In June’, despite the Old Lady’s offer of a two-year extension worth €2.5m a season plus bonuses.

Rugani has made just three appearances for Juve this term and was overlooked for Italy’s friendly against USA on Tuesday.
