Brazilian reports claim 19-year-old Santos talent Matheus Guedes has already agreed terms with Roma.
According to Globoesporte, the defender will not extend his current contract, which is due to expire on March 31, and is set for a free transfer to the Stadio Olimpico.
That means Roma can avoid paying the €50m release clause in the contract.
It’s suggested Guedes will fly to Italy in April so he has a few months to acclimatise and learn the language before his Giallorossi career begins in July.
