Ajax have reportedly rejected an approach from Roma for Coach Erik ten Hag on the grounds of their botched negotiations for Hakim Ziyech.
According to De Telegraaf, Roma asked Ajax about the possibility of speaking to Ten Hag.
However, the newspaper writes the Dutch club were not prepared to negotiate with the Giallorossi as they are still annoyed over Monchi’s failure to conclude a deal for Ziyech last summer.

The 49-year-old led the Amsterdamers to a League and cup double last season, as well as a place in the Champions League quarter-finals, beating Real Madrid and Juventus along the way.
Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca is the current favourite to take charge of the Lupi.
