River Plate and Argentina defender Lucas Martinez Quarta has reportedly issued a come-and-get-me plea to Milan.
Martinez is considered one of Argentina’s brightest defensive prospects after helping River win the Copa Libertadores last season and recently breaking into the national team.
Now, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old turned down a move to Villarreal as he “strongly wants” Milan and has even offered himself to the Rossoneri.

For now, the Diavolo appear fully stacked in central defence, with Leo Duarte added to Alessio Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio and Mattia Caldara over the summer.
Despite that, Elliott Management has pledged its commitment to running the club, making investments in January a possibility.
