Genoa are interested in bringing him back to Liguria, but Parma and Sassuolo have been mentioned too, according to the broadcaster.

Ranocchia spent six months as Sampdoria in 2016, before moving on loan to Hull City in January 2017 for six months in the Premier League.

The former Italy international, capped 21 times, has played 207 competitive games for the Nerazzurri, contributing 13 goals in the process.
