Torino are on the verge of completing a move for Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega, who has reportedly signed a loan deal with the Granata.

Pobega spent last term on loan with Spezia and is now set for another year elsewhere, as Sky Sport Italia reports he arrived at Torino’s headquarters earlier to make the move official.

The report claims he moves on a dry loan, as Milan are working to close a deal with Chelsea over Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The Rossoneri thus gave the go ahead for Pobega to move elsewhere but has only allowed the talented midfielder to move on loan.

The broadcaster claims Pobega will undergo the required medical examinations tomorrow after the player pushed to become a new Torino player.

Coach Ivan Juric should have the 22-year-old available immediately and the report believes he could be involved already against Fiorentina in the second round of Serie A 2021-22.

  1. Why is he not in the squad instead of Bakayoko? This is going to be another Locatelli, to name just one.
