Report: Pellegrini out for three matches

Paulo Fonseca has reportedly lost another key member due to a muscle injury, as Lorenzo Pellegrini will miss Roma's next three games.

The attacking midfielder joins Nicolò Zaniolo and Javier Pastore on the treatment table, meaning that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will most likely take place in the middle of Fonseca’s trident behind Edin Dzeko in the upcoming games.

Reports from RomaNews and Calciomercato.com are claiming that Pellegrini will be out for a couple of weeks after the exams he underwent at Villa Stuart has revealed a problem with the adductor in his thigh.

The injury forced him off at half-time against Lecce and will now miss at least the three next games against KAA Gent in the Europa League and Cagliari and Sampdoria in Serie A.
