Italy team manager Gabriele Oriali is expected to return to Inter as part of Antonio Conte’s backroom staff.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports Oriali will take up the same role at Inter as the one he has occupied for the Azzurri since 2014.
The former Nerazzurri midfielder and 1982 World Cup winner had already been part of the club’s hierarchy between 1999 and 2010 in various roles.
However, he left following a bitter row with then-technical director Marco Branca and subsequently linked up with Conte in the Italy set-up.

The role of team manager is effectively a bridge between the dressing room and management.
La Gazzetta adds the former Juventus boss has been in Milan since Tuesday and will put pen to paper on a three-year contract by Friday.
