Napoli will reportedly turn to Yannick Carrasco if the proposed Matteo Politano-Fernando Llorente swap doesn’t materialise.

The Partenopei are on the lookout for an additional winger, now that they have reverted to a 4-3-3 formation under Gennaro Gattuso.

Their first choice had been Politano, who is out of favour at Inter, and there had been murmurs of a swap involving veteran striker Llorente – a long-term target for Antonio Conte.

However, should that deal fail to materialise, Corriere della Sera claims Napoli have Carrasco in mind as an alternative.

The former Atletico Madrid attacker has been plying his trade in China for the last two years but has been itching to get back to Europe for some time.

The 26-year-old scored 15 goals in 22 CSL games during the 2019 season for Dalian Yifang, who are coached by Rafa Benitez.
