Reports say Napoli will meet Pescara today to finalise a €10m for Gianluca Lapadula.

There were reports yesterday that Genoa had won the race to secure the sought-after striker, who’s also being tracked by Juventus and Leicester City.

However, Tuttomercatoweb has now reported that Napoli are due to meet Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani today to close a deal.

The Partenopei will take advantage of the fact that the 26-year-old doesn’t want to join Juve only to be loaned out again and that Genoa’s bid is yet to be accepted.

Leicester City have sent scouts to watch the striker in action several times, but are yet to make an official proposal.

The outlet believes that the Vesuviani are now set to close a deal today for €8m plus €2m of bonuses.

Lapadula has been in sensational form in Serie B this season, scoring 26 goals and providing 11 assists in his 39 appearances.
