Sportitalia are claiming that Napoli have accepted a €5m offer from Galatasaray, now Mario Rui has to agree personal terms with the Turkish club before completing the transfer.

According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the Partenopei are ready to sell the Portuguese full-back for €5m plus bonuses.

The only remaining issue now is for the 30-year-old to agree personal terms with Galatasaray.

Mario Rui is under contract with Napoli until June 2025 and joined the Partenopei from Roma in 2017, initially on loan and then on a permanent basis for a total cost of €9m.

He spent most of his career in Italy, leaving Benfica for Parma in 2011, then going on to represent Gubbio, Spezia, Empoli, Roma and Napoli.

This season, he made 36 competitive appearances for the Partenopei, contributing two assists.

Mario Rui has 11 senior caps for Portugal, but the most recent was in November 2020 and he was not called up for the Euro 2020 campaign.
