Italian media claim Milan have signed a pre-contract agreement with Sevilla boss Unai Emery.
It would be a surprise twist just one day after President Silvio Berlusconi announced they’d bring back Carlo Ancelotti “if Real Madrid let him go.”
Sport Mediaset pundit Maurizio Pistocchi sent this tweet: “According to my sources – the same ones who gave me Seedorf to Milan (six months early) and Mancini to Inter – Unai Emery has signed with Milan.”
CEO Adriano Galliani is expected to fly out to Madrid tomorrow in a bid to talk Ancelotti into accepting a return to San Siro.
However, it’s possible while there that Galliani will take a detour and head to Sevilla.
Ancelotti confidently stated in a Press conference yesterday “either I stay at Real Madrid or I take a year off.”
