Milan are reportedly ready to act in advance and offer Theo Hernandez a contract extension two years before his deal expires in 2024.

After Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu left on free transfers this summer and the complicated renewal with Franck Kessie this year, Milan are prepared to act in advance with the French full-back.

To avoid another transfer saga, the club are ready to immediately extend with The Hernandez, who has a deal that expires in June 2024.

The full-back arrived from Real Madrid in 2019 for €22m and has already attracted interest from several top clubs in Europe.

The full-back currently earns €1.5m, according to Tuttomercatoweb, and Milan directors are ready to start discussing a renewal, hoping he will commit to an extended deal with the Rossoneri.

The 23-year-old has appeared 83 times since joining the Rossoneri, contributing 15 goals and 14 assists from the left-back position.

The former Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Deportivo Alaves player was called up for the first time by France this month.

  1. And if he doesn’t renew, put him on the market in the summer so we don’t end up in this situation again.
