Milan will reportedly meet with Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent today, confident of reaching an agreement over a new deal for the Turkey international.

The Rossoneri continue to work for Calhanoglu’s renewal, as his current contract expires in June 2021.

Calciomercato.com reports the Diavolo directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are set to meet with agent Gordon Stipic today.

The third meeting in a few months is set to take place and the report claims the confidence of reaching an agreement has increased at Milanello.

The outlet reports Milan continue to offer €4m a season, whilst the previous request of €5.5m could go down to €5m and reached with the inclusion of bonuses in the new contract.

Calhanoglu has contributed one goal and nine assists in 20 Serie A games this term and the 27-year-old has established himself as a key member in Stefano Pioli’s squad at San Siro.

He arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2017 for a reported €23.3m and the attacking midfielder has since played 157 games with the Rossoneri.
