Pezzella has been linked with a move away from Fiorentin in recent months, but the 29-year-old has also been offered a new contract at the Artemio Franchi.

Agent Guastadisegno reportedly met with Milan in July 2019 too, but the defender ended up staying in Florence.

The centre-back later revealed he was ‘tempted’ by the Rossoneri but didn’t want to leave after a disappointing season.

Pezzella has played 104 games for Fiorentina since his arrival from Real Betis in August 2017.
