Milan are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement with Manchester United over the return of Diogo Dalot ahead of 2021-22.

The Portuguese full-back was called up for Euro 2020 when Joao Cancelo had to withdraw from the Portugal squad due to COVID-19.

And the full-back is among the Rossoneri targets this summer, as he spent last term on loan at San Siro and proved to be a reliable back-up for Davide Calabria.

Dalot can also operate at left-back if needed and the Diavolo has been pushing to reach an agreement with United.

Sky Sport Italia reports the two parties are close to reaching an agreement over the details and on the verge of closing an operation that will see Dalot moving back to the fashion capital this summer.

The details of the negotiation is unknown but the 22-year-old, who played 21 Serie A games in 2020-21, seems set to continue at Milan.
