He is currently tied to a deal until June 2021, with an option for a further year, and President Massimo Cellino, according to Calciomercato.com, wants €50m for the talented midfielder.
Juventus and Inter have been linked with the boy from Lodi and the Bianconeri are reportedly on pole for now but have not yet closed a deal with the Rondinelle patron.
Inter are not intending to leave the negotiations without a fight, but the outlet claims Milan are preparing to launch an offer, making the dealings more complicated for the two teams currently in the Scudetto battle.
Tonali has revealed to be a fan of Milan and the report suggests the Rossoneri have been in touch with both Brescia and the player’s agent.
The Diavolo will have to accommodate to free up the required resources for a deal at this scale, but Benfica have been linked with Lucas Paqueta and could bring the money to convince Cellino to let Tonali leave.
