Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona over a move for Junior Firpo.

Marca reports Milan have asked for a loan deal with an option to buy in July 2022 and that the Blaugrana have accepted the request.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to San Siro in the last two transfer windows, but reportedly turned down a move last summer and then in January.

Firpo struggled to convince coach Ronald Koeman at Camp Nou in 2020-21 and only appeared seven times in La Liga, as Barcelona finished third in the table.

The full-back arrived from Real Betis in 2019 for a reported €18m and the report believes Barca will ask for an option to buy for €12m next summer.

Firpo’s contract with Barcelona expires in June 2024, but he’s not part of Koeman’s plans in Catalunya, and the club is prepared to cash in.
