La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Italy international doesn’t have the continuity he would like at the Partenopei and could ask to be sold if he doesn’t receive any confirmation about his future at the Stadio Diego Maradona.

Coach Gennaro Gattuso has rotated between David Ospina and Meret this season, but his former coach Carlo Ancelotti, currently at Everton, has reportedly set his sights on the Italian goalkeeper.

Meret’s struggles at Napoli could cost him a place in the European Championship this summer and it’s not certain that he will stay beyond the summer.

The newspaper claims Inter are looking to replace Samir Handanovic, who is about to turn 37.

Roma have been following him for some time and the report claims the Giallorossi tried to sign him on loan last summer.
