Claudio Marchisio has turned down an offer to leave Juventus and play in MLS for Montreal Impact, it’s reported.

The 32-year-old midfielder has spent his whole career at his hometown club, but a lack of playing time has made it increasingly likely he’ll move on in the summer.

Major League Soccer was mentioned many times in the media as an option and Nick De Santis visited Turin for talks representing Montreal Impact.

However, according to Juventus News 24, Marchisio rejected the proposal and does not want to stray too far from Italy.
