It is also believed that his backroom staff is taking shape and it is expected to include Fausto Salsano, who has worked with Mancini in his last three jobs.
Former Juventus midfielder David Platt is also reportedly set for involvement, having served as Mancini’s assistant during the latter’s time in Manchester.
Former Inter defender Daniele Adani is also suggested as to be included in Mancini’s technical team.
Meanwhile, SportMediaset are running the line that Mazzarri was informed of his dismissal at 10.30 this morning, Italian time, by director general Marco Fassone.
However, they also echo earlier reports that the decision to make the change in Coach was made yesterday evening.
