Report: Manchester United outcast Pogba in talks with Juventus and PSG

There are reports in England that Paul Pogba has been in negotiations with both Juventus and PSG, but seems inclined towards a Turin return after leaving Manchester United for free.

It would be a remarkable new twist in the tale, considering Pogba first joined Juve as a free agent from Manchester United in 2012 and was sold back to the Old Trafford side for what was then a world transfer record €105m fee.

To have the midfielder return to Juve again without any expense would make him the most profitable player in the club’s history.

Currently out of action with a calf injury, his contract is due to expire on June 30 and he does not seem eager to discuss an extension.

According to FootballTransfers.com, agent Vincenzo Raiola – who is now running the agency following the death of cousin Mino – had meetings with both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Juve seem to be the favourites, proposing a deal worth €220,000 per week with bonuses added on to pad out the salary.

It is effectively the same deal that had been offered to Paulo Dybala before it was taken back, allowing him to leave as a free agent this summer.
