Just as Ademola Lookman returned to training with Atalanta, it’s reported he agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, while Arsenal also keep an eye on the situation.
The Nigeria international has had a chaotic few days, as last Wednesday he played in the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid, then he asked not to make the Serie A trip to Lecce on Monday because he had an offer on the transfer market.
It was rumoured to be PSG, but with no formal proposal made to Atalanta, he returned to training today and many assumed that was the end of it.
Lookman still targeted by PSG and Arsenal
However, this evening Sky Sports Deutschland claim that Lookman has agreed personal terms with PSG and is waiting for them to work out a fee with Atalanta.
At the same time, they also follow up Sportitalia’s exclusive from Wednesday night that Arsenal are prepared to make a swoop for the winger, potentially cutting the €50m cost with the addition of Jakub Kiwior.
This news will throw the whole situation back into chaos, just as La Dea had hoped to find some calm.
