There are growing reports Parma and Roberto D’Aversa have decided to part company, with Fabio Liverani ready to replace him.
Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia maintain the decision has been made, they are negotiating the final details to terminate the contract by mutual consent.
It ends a long tenure for D’Aversa, who had taken Parma from Serie C in December 2016 to the top flight with back-to-back promotions, then Serie A safety for another two years.

The 45-year-old is reportedly no longer happy with the project in place at the Stadio Tardini and feels the need for a new challenge.
A replacement has already been found, as Lecce surprisingly sacked Liverani this week, despite the excellent performances he got from a weak team.
Liverani had also been linked with Genoa, but the favourite for that job remains Vincenzo Italiano, who just earned promotion via the Serie B play-offs with Spezia.
