Coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed that Die Bullen won’t be able to sign the Czech Republic international with the current terms agreed before the season.

“We have a strict budget, and even if we were to qualify for the Champions League, I don’t think we can sign Schick,” he said yesterday, according to Calciomercato.com.

But the tactician is reportedly happy with the player and Schick wants to remain in the Bundesliga.

The outlet claims the Giallorossi will struggle to find other teams willing to spend €30m on the former Sampdoria forward and could be forced to surrender and let Leipzig have him for €20m due to the financial troubles in the Italian capital.
