Lazio have seemingly lost out on yet another transfer target, because it is reported that Djibril Sow has snubbed them to sign for Sevilla instead.

The two clubs had both proposed a similar fee to Eintracht Frankfurt, said to be in the region of €15m plus bonuses, so the decision was down to the Switzerland international.

He already had the Biancocelesti on tenterhooks for over a week as he took time to consider his options.

Arsenal were also linked with Sow, but reports in Switzerland and Italy this evening both claim Sow has chosen Sevilla.

The 26-year-old has a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt that only runs to the end of the current campaign.

This is another blow for Lazio, who have still not signed a replacement for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic following his move to the Saudi Pro League.

Meanwhile, Sportitalia also report this evening that talks have resumed with free agent Daichi Kamada and their offer for Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci will be increased to €20m including bonuses.
