His representatives are expected to return to Milan, after having held three meetings with CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio in January.
The meetings reportedly certified the general agreement between the parties and the new contract will be extending his stay with one season and increase his current salary from €2.5m a year to €4.5m.
The newspaper claims a series of easily accessible bonuses will be added to the bumper new deal and the release clause will be eliminated.
Lautaro has a contract with Inter until June 2023, but with a €111m release clause included, and the former Racing Club star has impressed together with Romelu Lukaku in the Beneamata’s attack in recent years.
Martinez has contributed 43 goals in 116 competitive games with Inter and has already scored 10 times in 19 games for Argentina.
