Lautaro Martinez has passed the first part of his medical with Inter and is expected to be given their No 10 jersey.

Corriere dello Sport spotted Martinez leaving CONI premises on Friday morning for his first batch of medical examinations and is now headed for the Humanitas Research Hospital in nearby Rozzano to undergo the second and final part.

The young striker, who arrived to chants of ‘Lautaro, one of us’ at Milan Malpensa airport, is expected to put pen to paper on his contract at around 12:00 BST.

The Nerazzurri will reportedly pay Racing Club €20m for his services, with Gazzetta dello Sport tipping the Argentine to be handed their No 10 shirt, in a sign that ‘he will play with Mauro Icardi’.
