Report: Juventus agree Zakaria deal, await Tottenham and Aston Villa

Juventus have reportedly already agreed personal terms with Denis Zakaria’s agent, so are just waiting for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski to join Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Calciomercato.com, the deal is done for Zakaria, who has refused to sign a new contract at Borussia Monchengladbach and would be a free agent in June anyway.

It’s widely reported the official offer has been put forward worth €5m plus €2m in bonuses, beating those who had intended to snap Zakaria up as a free agent at the end of the season, including Roma.

Now the Bianconeri are just waiting for the outgoing transfers to be finalised before they can capture Zakaria, as the clock ticks down to Monday’s transfer deadline day.

Aston Villa need to raise their initial bid for Uruguay international Bentancur, especially as Juve still owe Boca Juniors a percentage of his sell-on fee.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are the favourites for Kulusevski, who was also offered to Milan and Everton.

Spurs are in the lead, as they are prepared to sign the Sweden international on loan with obligation to buy.
