Di Marzio explains a meeting took place between Juve chiefs Fabio Paratici and Beppe Marotta with Bonucci’s agent Alessandro Lucci, lasting ‘just over an hour’.

“Done? We have to wait and see,” the representative told Sky Sport Italia.

The Argentine striker should join Milan on an €18m loan with a €36m option to buy next summer, while Bonucci is set to return to Juve in a straight €40m swap with fellow defender Caldara.

No buyback clause for #Juventus is expected in Caldara's #ACMilan contract. https://t.co/F1sHiOsACq
