The Sunday Telegraph claims Juventus plan a £20m bid for Tottenham midfielder Paulinho if Arturo Vidal leaves.
Reports continue to suggest Manchester United are going all in to prise Chile international Vidal away from Juve, although it will cost them at least £40m (€50m).
According to today’s edition of the Telegraph, Paulinho is being targeted as the ideal replacement should Vidal move on.
It’s claimed the Bianconeri would offer £20m for the 26-year-old Brazilian, but that the minimum acceptable bid for Tottenham is £25m.
Paulinho only joined White Hart Lane last summer for £17m and was dropped by interim manager Tim Sherwood.
His performances at the World Cup with Brazil will also not have helped his prospects on the transfer market.
