Simone Inzaghi and Lazio patron Claudio Lotito have reportedly reached an agreement over the farewell and the coach should be announced by Inter on Thursday.

President Lotito had to give the coach the go ahead to formalise Simone Inzaghi’s move to Inter and La Repubblica reports the two have finally found an economic solution.

The newspaper claims there were economic problems keeping Inzaghi from being able to free himself, but that the coach and the patron have solved the complications.

Inzaghi will be able to sign with Inter and the announcement should arrive on Thursday, according to the report.

The former striker has reached an agreement worth €4m a season for the next two years and is set to start the job with the Beneamata on July 1.

Inzaghi has spent the last five seasons at the Olimpico and the 45-year-old has won one Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana during his time at Formello.
