Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi could be back in training this weekend and the Nerazzurri have reportedly decided to trigger the option to buy the player and make his move from Sassuolo permanent.

Sensi has yet to play since the resumption but Il Corriere dello Sport claims he will return to train with the rest of the group by the end of this week.

The newspaper claims the 24-year-old has given positive signs after his personalised sessions and, if all goes well, could be on the bench when the Nerazzurri face Getafe in the last 16 of the Europa League.

The report continues to claim that Sensi is set to stay at Inter and the club will trigger the option to sign the midfielder for €27m in mid-August.

Sensi started life at San Siro well but injuries have ruined his first season with the Beneamata. His contribution in the first months of the season has reportedly earned him a chance to continue with the Nerazzurri.
