The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to the Blaugrana this spring but as the release clause of €111m expires today, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Nerazzurri are prepared to offer the forward new terms at San Siro.
The newspaper writes he will be offered a bumper new deal worth €5m a season, doubling his current salary at the club.

It’s still only half of the reported €10m a year that Barcelona were willing to offer per season, but the outlet claims the renewal could be completed in the next weeks.
The length of the new contract has not been set, as the former Racing Club player signed a deal until June 2023 when he arrived in July 2018.
