Inter have reportedly rejected an offer of €50m for Lautaro Martinez from Atletico Madrid.

The Argentine’s contract talks have stalled and reports in Italy believe Inter won’t exclude a sale this summer.

Lautaro arrived from Racing Club in July 2018 and has since established himself as an important member of the Nerazzurri squad, creating a great partnership with Romelu Lukaku up front.

The 23-year-old was a key member of the Inter side that picked up their first Scudetto in 11 years, but Lautaro’s potential farewell could be one of many changes this summer.

Sky: Inter won’t exclude Lautaro sale

Simone Inzaghi has replaced Antonio Conte at the helm and Joaquin Correa has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Lautaro, should the Argentina international leave.

Tuttosport reports Atletico Madrid have made an offer worth €50m for the striker, who has scored 49 goals in 132 competitive games with the Beneamata.

The newspaper reveals Inter have rejected the first approach from the La Liga side and have set a value of €90m for the player.

However, the report claims the Nerazzurri could be willing to let the player leave for a deal worth between €70m to €80m.

Lautaro was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in recent years, but has also attracted interest from the Premier League, with Chelsea and Arsenal mentioned as possible suitors.
