Radio Radio claim that Lazio have agreed terms for Joaquin Correa’s sale to Inter, where he’ll reunite with Simone Inzaghi.

The move had been expected ever since Inzaghi left the Stadio Olimpico for this new experience at San Siro.

There had also been interest from Premier League sides, including Aston Villa and Leicester City, as well as Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the summer.

Now the Roman radio station maintains a deal has been struck between Lazio and Inter, with an announcement due soon.

Tucu Correa will be 27 next week and has a release clause in his contract worth €70m, but any transfer was expected to cost closer to €30m.

The Argentina international scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 38 competitive matches for Lazio last season.

He was eager to move on and try a new experience, especially after mentor Inzaghi left the club.

Inter had been struggling to make the finances work, but selling Achraf Hakimi to PSG and Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea opened up many doors.
