Report: Hojlund signs contract with Man United

Reports on Thursday evening suggest that Rasmus Hojlund has signed his contract with Manchester United ahead of a record-breaking move from Atalanta

Earlier in the evening, it was reported by Sky Sports that Hojlund had completed his medical, having landed in the UK a few days ago.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the contract has now been signed and that Hojlund will soon be unveiled as a new United player.

It is believed that the 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the option of one more, which could see him stay at Old Trafford until the summer of 2029.

Romano reports that Hojlund could be unveiled at Old Trafford prior to United’s friendly against Lens on Saturday afternoon.

An agreement has already been reached between Atalanta and Man United over a package worth €75m (£64.3m) guaranteed plus €10m (£8.6m) in additional bonuses.

The deal would be a record sale for Atalanta, surpassing the €50m received from Tottenham for Cristian Romero.
