Gotze has been capped 67 times by Germany and contributed 17 goals in the process, including the match winner goal against Argentina in the 2014 World Cup Final.

He has scored 105 goals in 379 games in the Bundesliga and a great start to life at Dortmund earned him a move to the reigning champions, but he returned to BVB after three seasons in Bavaria.
