Report: Gervinho to renew with Parma

Parma star Gervinho has reportedly agreed to extend his contract with the club until 2022.

Gervinho’s current deal does not expire for another two years, but Gazzetta dello Sport claims Parma are ready to reward him for his loyalty.

As per the newspaper, the Ivorian is about to commit himself to the Ducali for a further season, taking him through to the 2021-22 campaign.

The former Roma winger moved to the Tardini from Chinese club Hebei China Fortune in the summer of 2018.

He was a hit in his first season with the then-Serie A new boys, scoring 13 goals in 31 appearances.

The 32-year-old was courted by several top sides in July but opted to stay at Parma, continuing his good form with three goals and two assists.
