Genoa have reportedly joined the chase for Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose.

Tuttomercatoweb claimed Cagliari had contacted the Lilywhites over a potential deal for the 30-year-old, who could leave Spurs this summer.

The left-back was sent out on loan to Newcastle United last season and Genoa have, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, joined the chase and opened talks with the player’s representatives ahead of 2020-21.

Rose, capped 29 times by England, has spent 13 years with Tottenham and the report claims it will be difficult for Genoa to convince the full-back of moving to the Marassi.
