Juventus are reportedly negotiating with Juan Cuadrado, who’s on the verge of signing a new deal at the Allianz Stadium.

The Colombian arrived in the summer of 2015 and has established himself as a key member of the Bianconeri squad.

His current deal expires in June 2022 and LaStampa journalist Antonio Barilla told TuttoJuve the negotiations are at an advanced stage.

The report claims the two parties have already reached an agreement and are only formalities away from penning a new deal.

The 33-year-old moved to Italy in 2009, when he joined Udinese from Independiente Medellin in his homeland.

He has since played for Lecce, Fiorentina and Juventus in Serie A, but has experience from a stint at Chelsea in the Premier League too.

He joined Juventus on loan in August 2015 and later signed a permanent deal with the Old Lady two years later.

Cuadrado has appeared 229 times with the Bianconeri, scoring 20 goals and contributing 54 assists in the process.

The Colombia international won the Premier League and the League Cup during his time with Chelsea, and has later picked up five Scudetti, four Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana with Juve.

  1. …why? Juventus re-sign 50 year Chielleni and 40 yeard old Cuadrado to new deals…Allegri comments “Cuadrado in his young age is the future of this squad”

  2. @dan, Because this is not FIFA, Kid. Stop being a disgrace. Chiellini and Cuadrado are still beasts. Chiellini is a leader and he has no problem playing as a bench player. And Cuadrado, this guy is a KEY player this season. Juve’s play is lost without him on the pitch. Be grateful for what you have and who you have, unless you’re a Juve hater or a penaldo fan boy.
