It’s reported that incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte met with Roma’s Radja Nainggolan yesterday.

The Belgian midfielder has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Italy CT already confirmed as taking over after Euro 2016.

According to SportMediaset, Conte met with the player at the Grand Hotel in Rome at 23.30 last night [22.30 UK time], after Nainggolan had attended a fan event.

It’s thought Chelsea are prepared to offer €36m [£28.5m] for the combative midfielder, with a contract worth €6m per season on the table for the player.

Mediaset reports that Blues owner Roman Abrahmovich, at Conte’s request, has made Nainggolan the number one target for this summer.
