Antonio Conte and his staff have reportedly been dismissed by Chelsea, paving the way for Maurizio Sarri’s arrival.
The former Italy CT has essentially been a lame duck at Stamford Bridge since the end of last season, but the Blues couldn’t agree a compensation deal with Napoli for Sarri.
That meant that Conte had to continue to take first team training or be in breach of contract, and he took the morning session today before the players were sent home.
