It is reported that Franco Colomba is in advanced negotiations to take over at Parma after Pasquale Marino was fired.

The club confirmed Marino had been axed after today's shock 2-1 home defeat to bottom of the table Bari.

The name of the new boss has not yet been announced, but reports suggest Colomba is in talks this evening.

He started the campaign at the helm of Bologna, but was fired before the opening game, so is available under Serie A rules to take over at a different club.
