The coach has already decided to leave the winger out of the two remaining games before Christmas and the player could face fines for his conduct.

The coach was reportedly waiting for the apology, as the player was ‘not in sync’ with Sampdoria’s spirit and had been left out of the 2-1 win against Hellas Verona.

Candreva continued to train alone today but the outlet claims he has apologised to coach Ranieri and to the rest of his teammates.

His future is still uncertain and the Inter loanee will meet with the coach in the next few hours. It remains to be seen if Candreva will rejoin the group after the Christmas break.
