Since January, the right winger has been linked with a move away from the club and has been linked with a return to Spain in recent weeks.

The newspaper claims President Aurelio De Laurentiis changed his mind and opened negotiations with the winger before meeting with the veteran at Castel Volturno yesterday.

De Laurentiis has reportedly offered Callejon a two-year extension of his current deal in Naples.

Callejon arrived from Real Madrid ahead of the 2013-14 season and has been a key member of the Azzurri in his seven years at the club.

So far, the former Spain international has contributed 80 goals and 77 assists in his 336 games for the Partenopei.
