Espanyol striker Felipe Caicedo is reported to be on his way towards Roma for a transfer to Lazio after agreeing a pay cut.

He’s set to sign a three-year contract and is reportedly already on a plane towards Rome tonight.

Lazio had hesitated over the deal when it emerged he only has a valid Ecuadorian passport, so cannot be registered as an EU player.
