Sporting director Zvonimir Boban seems set to leave Milan, as CEO Ivan Gazidis has reportedly made up his mind about the future staff at San Siro.

The Croatian came back to the Milanello last summer and the reports in Italy claims that his difficult relationship with the CEO Gazidis has reached a point of no return after his recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Corriere della Sera writes that Boban didn’t appreciate that the Milan hierarchy had contacted Ralf Rangnick behind his and Paolo Maldini’s back – the two sporting directors.

And the newspaper claims that lawyers have been in place to work on a severance pay of the Croatian, who could return to his previous job at FIFA.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Boban’s farewell could mean that Paolo Maldini’s future is also at a crossroad.

The former left-back and Milan legend might decide to leave, but the reports also states that the Rossoneri are not willing to sack him.

But his new team would reportedly consist of members much closer to Gazidis and multiple newspapers in Italy are predicting a Rangnick revolution at San Siro, meaning that Stefano Pioli's job is also under threat.
