Benevento have reportedly turned their attention on Parma attacker Gervinho after the Loic Remy deal fell through due to a failed medical.
The Ivorian has become the number one target of the Streghe sporting director Pasquale Foggia at the newly promoted side.
The director looked to have reinforced Filippo Inzaghi’s squad with French forward Remy in recent weeks, but the deal didn’t materialise after a failed second medical.

Tuttomercatoweb has claimed the Stregoni are now looking at Gervinho but that the Gialloblu are asking €10m for the forward.
His salary of €1.5m a year plus bonuses could be another obstacle to overcome for Foggia.
The outlet points out that Benevento are looking at the leading goalscorer in Slovenia Dario Vizinger too.
Vizinger has been on target for NK Celje this term, contributing 22 goals in 34 league games. Benevento are hoping to add the Croatia Under-21 international to their ranks this summer but are still insisting on giving Inzaghi an experienced player in attack.
